Why we list coils by brand
Every manufacturer uses its own fitting, so a replacement from one brand will rarely fit a tank from another. As a result, shopping by brand is the quickest way to find the right part. First, check the name on your tank or kit. Then open that brand and pick the resistance you want. That way, your new coils will fit first time.
Eleaf GS Air coils
The Eleaf GS Air Coils (5 Pack) fit the Eleaf GS Air, GS Air 2, GS Air M, GS-Tank, Basal and iJust Start / iJust Start Plus. You can choose 1.5Ω, 1.2Ω or 0.75Ω. Alternatively, the GS Air 5 x 5 Pack Deal lets you mix any five packs in one order.
Aspire BVC coils
The Aspire BVC Coils (5 Pack) fit the Aspire K1, K1 Plus, K Lite, K2, Spryte, ET-S, CE5 / CE5-S and Vivi Nova. You can choose 1.6Ω or 1.8Ω. However, they do not fit Nautilus tanks. Alternatively, the Aspire BVC 5 x 5 Pack Deal lets you mix any five packs in one order.
Aspire Nautilus coils
The Aspire Nautilus Coils (5 Pack) fit the Nautilus Nano, Nautilus 3, Nautilus 3²², Nautilus 3S, Nautilus 3SR and Nautilus GT II tanks, plus the Aspire Zelos 3, Zelos X, Zelos X80, Zelos M80, Zelos Nano and Rhea X kits. You can choose BVC 1.8Ω, BVC 1.6Ω, Nautilus 2 0.7Ω, 2S Mesh 0.7Ω or Mesh 1.0Ω. Alternatively, the Aspire Nautilus 5 x 5 Pack Deal lets you mix any five packs in one order.
Choosing the right resistance
Higher resistances, such as 1.5Ω or 1.8Ω, give a tighter mouth-to-lung draw. Because of that, they suit nic salts and higher strength e-liquids. In contrast, lower resistances, such as 0.7Ω, give a looser, warmer vape with more vapour. So match the resistance to your device and your usual e-liquid.
How to prime a new coil
First, drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the cotton through the wicking holes. Then fit the coil, fill the tank and wait around five minutes. After that, start at the low end of the wattage range and build up slowly. Finally, change the coil as soon as you taste anything burnt.
Also, sweeter e-liquids tend to wear them out faster. So it is worth keeping a spare pack of coils to hand.
